Inspired by a lifelong love of nature, Jane
Shasky creates beautifully
detailed watercolors featuring fresh botanicals embellished with
elegant
calligraphy. Jane's timeless maps reflect her love of travel to places
far
away. The islands of the South Pacific are her most favorite...."the
light,
colors and scents of Bora Bora were truly magical," she reminisces.
After working in advertising and publishing for many years, Jane
turned her
hand to designing timeless images for the home. Today, her watercolor
paintings appear on quality products, including calendars, fabrics,
greeting
cards, home décor, scrapbooking and more.
Washington State's snowy Olympic Mountains and everchanging Puget
Sound
provide a scenic backdrop for Jane's charming gardens and studio,
where she
lives with her husband Frank and daughter Jenna. |
