Nancy Bright

Nancy Bright is a self -taught watercolor artist, widely recognized for her deeply moving spiritual imagery. Her art includes a variety of themes and styles; from the "Wildflower Series", full of stunning detail and art nouveau like border treatments, to the "Wildlife Mandalas" and the "Kaleidoscope Series" - images that appear as if you are looking into a kaleidoscope when viewed from afar. Perhaps the work that is closest to her heart are images from Nancy's "Journeys Line", which are literally a visual biography of her life. The "Journeys" paintings are inspired by thoughts and emotions borne out of personal life experiences, dreams and visions.

Nancy's work has been seen in the films "Angels, The Mysterious Messengers" and "Angels II - Beyond the Light". Her art has also been featured in magazines and has appeared in numerous journals, books and posters. Nancy's work has also recently been licensed with Leanin Tree cards.

She is recognized by the academic community as a Summa Cum Laude graduate of Southern Oregon University where she won several awards in art and creative writing and earned a BFA in 1987. Her studio is located in Eugene, Oregon.
